Mark Whitmire has been in the construction industry for over 40 years.  Most of those years as a principal in land development, homebuilding, and brokerage firms.  Primary focus was in the financial, operational, and strategic execution of business plans.  Mark’s involvement, participation and experience in the Industry proved particularly useful to many individuals outside of his companies during “The Great Recession” as he was able to assist and counsel struggling businesses to find the opportunities for survival and success.

Mark entered the cabinet industry with the intent of serving professional builders well.  Capitalizing on his perspective as a homebuilder, Mark strives to serve the homebuilding community well with on-time, quality custom cabinets.  The team at MTW Cabinetry is made up of leading professionals in all aspects of the design, manufacture, and installation of cabinets of excellence.

Beyond the Real Estate industry, Mark has been active sharing his talents and gifts in many ways.  He served as a member of the Board of Directors for an Orphanage and Senior Center for three years, Executive Mentor for over 20 years, Musician in various churches and bands for most of his life, Treasurer and Finance Committee Member for various churches and schools, and currently serves as a Board Member of Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association where he additionally serves as a Continuing Education Teacher as well as the Co-Chair of the Builder/Developer/Lender Council.

Mark is married to Ladan, and they have a son Thomas (Class of 2026 The Galloway School).  Mark believes in life-long learning, loves traveling, and playing and listening to music.

Howard has over 30 years’ experience of cabinet business development and has been instrumental in developing cabinet sales, estimating and builder account management. His experience includes project scheduling, project management and project estimating, managing a large staff as well as hiring of essential staffing.

Howard also has a wealth of knowledge in a variety of construction management arenas, including large commercial, multifamily and senior living.

During his tenure with a national cabinet manufacturer, he managed the Atlanta Branch and co-managed Raleigh NC and Charlotte NC branches.

In 2017, he began his position VP of Cabinet Operations with a local cabinet and countertop supplier and was quickly promoted to Sales Division Manager in 2019. From 2021 to 2023, Howard was the Chief Operations Officer for a local cabinet and countertop supplier.

Howard is married to Becky and they have three daughters and five grandchildren.

Ted attended the University of Tennessee and has over 30 years of managerial experience.  He is responsible for the financial aspects of the company including purchasing, accounts payable, invoicing, and accounts receivable.  He also handles corporate compliance, as well as human resources.

He currently lives in Cornelia, GA, along with his wife of over 20 years.  Together, they have four children, two each from prior marriages, as well as two grandchildren.

When not spending time with his wife helping her with her outside endeavors, he is an avid poker player who also enjoys facilitating poker tournaments for a local poker club.    

Preston oversees the operations of design, production, installation and service for MTW Cabinetry. He has worked in every aspect of the cabinet business for the last 24 years and enjoys giving people the kitchens and baths they have been dreaming about.

Preston currently lives in Gainesville, GA with his wife Jennifer and they have three wonderful children. His hobbies include fishing, thinking about fishing, and buying stuff for fishing.
